Build strength, endurance, agility and balance using the wellness circuit at an ActNow BC Seniors Community Park in your area. Each piece of equipment is easy to use, and is designed to increase your ability to perform day-to-day activities. The equipment is suitable for those aged 13 years and older.

The following videos serve as a guideline on how to use each piece of equipment, teach proper form and technique, and provide alternate exercises adapted to various levels.

How to use these videos

The following videos and exercises are designed for use with HealthBeat™ Outdoor Fitness System equipment, supplied by Habitat Systems, which is available at 12 of the 18 Seniors Community Parks. Click here to find out which type of equipment is provided at your local park.

Each video describes various exercises that can be done on one piece of equipment. Follow the instructions that best meet your current physical ability. Be sure to warm up before you begin and cool down after you are finished.
