Below are locations of the eighteen ActNow BC Seniors Community Parks, designed to help older adults stay mobile, physically active, and healthy in their communities (view the news release). The list of parks is divided into two groups, depending on which type of equipment the park is outfitted with.
The following twelve parks are outfitted with HealthBeat™ Outdoor Fitness System equipment, supplied by Habitat Systems. - Abbotsford: Mill Lake Park
- Burnaby: 9523 Cameron Street (Cameron Recreation Complex)
- Kamloops: Located along McArthur Island Parkway adjacent to Norbrock Stadium
- Nanaimo: 6000 Oliver Road (adjacent to the new Oliver Woods Recreation Centre)
- North Vancouver: Located at the northern end of Parkgate Avenue just west of Mt. Seymour Road
- Oak Bay: 2291 Cedar Hill X Rd (Henderson Recreation Centre)
- Prince George: 2121 Massey Place (Masich Place Stadium)
- Richmond: Hugh Boyd Park
- Sidney: 10091 Resthaven Drive (Located on the grounds of the Sidney / North Saanich library)
- Surrey: Located north of 83rd Avenue and west of 160th Street (adjacent to the Fleetwood Community Centre)
- Terrace: 4620 Park Avenue
- Tsawwassen: 5027 11A Avenue (Lions Wellness Park)
- Vancouver: 6210 Tisdall Street (Tisdall at 49th - Tisdall Park)
