Minister Mary Polak and Leo, the BC Lions mascot, promoted healthy living to 32,000 fans on August 22 at the Lions home game at BC Place Stadium. Fans visited the ActNow BC booth and took the ActNow BC Healthy Living Pledge and 4,000 kids received a healthy lunchbox courtesy of ActNow BC. The contents included fresh mini cukes from Windset Farms, stickers from BC Dairy Foundation, a pedometer and a healthy recipe card.
