  • Reaching for the salt shaker? Taste your food first. If you want to add salt, measure it out in your hand to control the amount you add.
  • Putting mustard, barbecue sauce and pickle on your burger? Top it with lettuce, onion and tomato instead.
  • Sprinkling on soy sauce? Dilute your soy sauce half and half with water or buy sodium reduced soy sauce.
